In the 1970s, company founder Gerard Seesing—a passionate motocross rider—began building his own shock absorbers in the Netherlands because he couldn't afford new ones. Using discarded car and motorcycle shock absorbers, a great deal of curiosity, and skilled craftsmanship, he developed the prototypes that soon helped him achieve numerous race victories.
