Fischer Hydraulik boasts around 30 years of experience in steel braided brake lines. Company founder Erich Fischer was a passionate motorcyclist from an early age and lived out his passion on many racetracks. Even back then, professionals used steel braided brake lines in their high-performance racing machines – a precisely controlled braking point, shorter braking distances, and better controllability of the motorcycle were key criteria for using steel braided brake lines.

And what's good for the racetrack can't be wrong on normal roads. That, in short, was the conviction of motorcyclist Erich Fischer and the idea behind the founding of Fischer Hydraulik GmbH in 1995. The past 30 years have proven that this idea was correct. Countless drivers in Germany and around the world enjoy greater safety and driving pleasure. Specialist retailers swear by the craftsmanship of Fischer steel braided brake lines. Renowned car and motorcycle racing teams order their brake lines from the Schramberg factory, and, last but not least, industrial customers also use steel braided brake lines from the Black Forest in series production. The Fischer Hydraulik team manages to strike a balance between personal advice for a classic car enthusiast and the demands of the automotive industry, between highly specialized custom-made products and the standard range available in the online shop.
Keeping a Foothold
The company is located in a very traditional setting: Building 63 of the listed industrial buildings of the Gebr. Junghans watch factory in the so-called "Geißhalde" area houses the offices and production facilities of Fischer Hydraulik GmbH – as well as the workshop for the racing motorcycles. Erich Fischer is no longer the driver, but his son Max, who has competed in many motocross and supermoto races since childhood. And of course, we still test, drive, adjust, measure, adjust and document ourselves – with passion and know-how in the racing workshop as well as in production.
